If you are looking for a luxury home to enjoy your vacation in, look no further. Casa Estefania is situated just inside the entrance of Playacar Phase II. It neighbors the Aviary (a natural bird sanctuary) and is a short five-minute walk into the festive town of Playa del Carmen - loaded with restaurants and shops. The ocean is an engaging 5 minute walk through ancient Mayan ruins.
Casa Estefania is a newly renovated vacation property. Every inch of the spectacular villa has been upgraded- from custom cabinets and granite countertops in the kitchen, to new heavy custom built door on all the rooms,to fabulous en suite bathrooms.There are two master suites , both on the second floor, one has a traditional Mexican brick domed ceiling, intriguing for any guest to marvel at its unique craftsmanship. Both have king sized beds and high end linens on "top of the line" mattresses. All the bedrooms have their own private bathrooms. Each bath contains a 6' bath/shower and large lavatories. The third bedroom on this floor has two queen-sized beds, perfect for children or simply "friends" who are traveling together.On the first floor there is yet another master suite,with king sized bed with bath, perfect for the grandparents.
Mexican tile is used throughout the house. The stairway is mahogany with a wrought iron hand railing. In the upstairs lobby, you can read or nap on the full sized futon. An additional water pump was added to guarantee full water pressure and "on demand" hot water, both rarities in Mexico. The home is fully air conditioned with remote controlled hand regulators.
The kitchen is large and fitted for any gourmet cook. It is outfitted with all modern amenities including a 5 burner gas stove and dishwasher, not common in Mexican kitchens. The mahogany cupboards are stocked with 12 place settings of china and glasses and a wide selection of cook ware. Spices and cookbooks are available to contribute to your Mexican fiesta that can be served inside at the formal dinning table for eight or at the beautiful custom table on the patio. Framing the kitchen is a custom built Mahogany island over-looking a covered patio and private swimming pool, both have been expanded. The terrace now has outdoor living space and dining room, while the pool has been freshly tiled, with a new beautiful rock waterfall and large surround where you can lounge in the sun, or relax in the shade.
The swimming pool has two sections. One is a bit deeper for total submersion. The other is shallower, ideal for children or the overheated sunbather who still wants the suns rays while sitting in cool water. Behind the pool is a large padded area under a "palapa." Many guests enjoy this shaded area during the hottest afternoon hours. At night the palapa is illuminated, offering for a comfortable place to reflect on the day while listening to the sounds of tropical birds next door. Casa Estefania is a beautiful home with an up-scale, personal touch. You will take away many treasured memories of your vacation in Playa del Carmen.
